About

Welcome to my homepage!

Thanks for stopping by. I’m a fourth year graduate student in oceanography at the University of Washington, in the Marine Geology and Geophysics option. My background is in geomatics engineering and ocean engineering, but I made a pretty big shift a couple of years ago. I’m now learning about whales and earthquakes – more specifically, I’m looking at whale calls that show up as “noise” in earthquake records.

Feel free to browse, comment, or contact me directly if you’ve got any questions.

And if you’re just dying to know more about why I love underwater acoustics, click here.
